A Tangaliya Shawl is a handwoven, GI protected shawl and textile made by the Dangasia community in Gujarat, India. The 700-year-old indigenous craft is native to the Surendranagar district, of Saurashtra-region of the state.

Tangliya Shawls received the Geographical Indication (GI) certificate in 19th March 2009 for its unique and traditional shawl craftsmanship. This GI certification recognizes Tangliya Shawls as originating from a specific geographical region, highlighting its cultural and artisanal significance. The shawls are meticulously handwoven using time-honored techniques and local materials, showcasing the rich heritage of the region.
