Authentic Handmade Bidriware Craft Flower Vase with Intricate Inlay Design

Bidriware Craft is a traditional form of hand-sculpting of metal alloys of zinc, copper, and other non-ferrous metals, exclusively practiced in the Bidar district of Karnataka. After the outer structure is made, fine designs are engraved on the surface and later inlaid with pure silverware.

Bidriware craft is heavily influenced by the Mughal artwork and has been in practice since the 15th century. Intricate silver design etched on the shiny black oxidized metallic surface adds to the grace of every Bidriware craft product. Various products such as vases, storage cases, plates, decorative animal sculptures, etc are developed through this craft form. This form of craft is known as Damascening.
